Fidelity Shield Insurance Company Limited is a leading general insurance provider offering a wide range of products to cater for individuals, private corporate companies, small and medium enterprises and governmental organisations and many more. Fidelity Shield Insurance Company Limited has grown since 1940 when the first office was opened in Mombasa. The growth has been tremendous and consistent. The total gross premium as at 31st December, 2011 was Kshs. 1 Billion with an asset base of over Kshs. 2 Billion. We offer customized products at competitive terms, coupled with prompt settlement of claims.

Corporate Governance
Fidelity Insurance is deeply committed to operating within the laws and regulations of the Country and the Insurance industry. These laws and regulations are established to serve the needs of everyone involved, from shareholders and stakeholders to managers and customers. Fidelity Insurance has policies and processes to support implementation of these laws and regulations which makes up our corporate governance framework. Key responsibility for corporate governance falls to the board of directors. The Directors must act following the four principles of governance — accountability, transparency, fairness and responsibility — for the best interest of stakeholders, shareholders and the business as a whole.
Human Resource Development
Training and development of staff remain central point of focus in all operations. The Company continues to provide growth opportunities to the staff at all levels in taking up new, bigger and more challenging roles. The Company also encourages staff to pursue further education in their career development. <br><br>
The staff are also given monetary incentives and promotions for successful completion of professional courses. Employees’ views and opinion are also sought on operational issues so as to bring about their participation in decision making processes.
